School Council visit to Mary Steven's Hospice

On Thursday the School Council spent the afternoon at Mary Steven's Hospice.

Rotary Presentation

On Monday, Year 6 received a special leaving gift from the Kinver Rotary Club. We are sure their new dictionary is something that they will treasure forever.

Buddy Picnic

On Friday, Reception and Year 6 enjoyed a Teddy Bears Picnic on the field. It was great to spend time together and say thank you and goodbye to their buddies before Year 6 leave us this week.

Rotary awards

Congratulations to the six Year 6 children who received their Rotary Award on Friday. Lots of hard work has gone into achieving the award and we know that all of the children have enjoyed their new experiences, including visiting a mosque, attending a town meeting,and learning CPR!

Year 4 PSHE - Food donations

As part of their learning in PSHE, Year 4 have been discussing ways in which we can avoid food waste and what we can do to help those who aren't as fortunate as us.

We had lots of generous food donations which Miss Carrington is going to drop off at the local food bank this week.

Year 4 DT Day

Year 4 enjoyed DT Day where they put their knowledge of electricity to the test. They created miniature houses from cardboard and wallpaper samples and fitted the electrical systems for them. Some houses featured a switch, light and fan

Clarinet Showcase

On Friday, Year 4 showcased their clarinet talents to school and parents.  They sounded fabulous, well done Year 4!!

Bible Explorers

Today Y6 completed their 'Bible Explorers' course. They were presented with a special book with 40 stories from the New Testament.

Drum Love

Two weeks ago, Year 4 had the opportunity to attend the Drum Love workshop and performance at Oldswinford Hospital School where they learnt to play a variety of percussion instruments. Following this, they performed in front of a variety of other primary schools.

They had a great day and really showed off their musical ability! Well done Year 4

Year 6 French Lesson

On Friday, Year 6 took part in a French lesson led by some Year 9 pupils from Ridgewood. We learnt all about the names of different foods practised our pronunciation by playing some fun games.
