Saltmine Theatre Production

On Monday 19th March the Saltmine Theatre company visited our school to perform 'In their Shoes'.

In their shoes is a unique production and workshop that celebrates and promotes unity in diversity and sensitively explores issues around extremism.

A Play written and produced with multi-faith partners, it is in itself an example of what can be achieved when different people come together and use their abilities for the same goal.

The children had a very enjoyable morning, the sessions were engaging and very thought-provoking regarding embracing difference and tolerance.

Bell Boating

Year 5 had a fantastic morning Bell Boating on Monday with Andy Train along Stourbridge canal!

Children loved working as a team to successfully navigate along the canal with one team even enjoying creating their own version of 'We Will Rock You'... also known as 'Paddle Rock'. The children were even brave enough to paddle standing up and walk along the boat and high-five their friends.

A huge thank you to Andy for allowing us to take part in such a wonderful opportunity- we loved it!

Athletics Final

Due to their fantastic 2nd place performance in the autumn athletics competition, our Year 5/6 athletics team got through to the finals for our local area at Windsor High School.

After a very close competition which included individual and relay events, they came a brilliant 3rd place. A massive congratulations to the whole team on their success, you did yourselves and the whole school proud!
