Summer Term Letter

Hello Year 1! I hope you and your families are well and enjoying spending this time together. I know it's all a bit strange but we will all be back together as soon as we know it and by staying at home you are really helping our NHS. I wonder how many of you have drawn a rainbow and put it in your window? I have spotted lots on my walks!

I've been pleased to see lots of you going on DoodleMaths and I know you're already getting your teeth into Spelling Shed which is great! I will be updating both of these weekly so as you regularly have added extras on DoodleMaths and a weekly spelling list.

As well as getting on with some school work, I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine and time with your family. I'm looking forward to seeing you all, reading your lovely writing again and seeing how your reading has come on. Keep emailing me to show me what you've been up to as I love seeing all of your creative creations as well as any school work you've done.

See you soon, Miss Carrington.

Hello Year 1. I miss you all, especially all the exciting news you like to tell me when you come in to school. I wonder how many times the tooth fairy has visited your homes over the last few weeks?

I am playing lots of games with my family, both inside and outside. My garden is being used as a cricket pitch at the moment!

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy and being helpful at home. I can’t wait to share some of the books I have read and you can share some of your stories as well. Keep up the good work you are all doing but enjoy the sunshine as well.

Mrs Smith.
