Summer Term Letter

A big hello to everyone in Reception and your families

I hope you are all being good and being super helpers like when you are at school. It looks like you are all having lots of fun as I have been sent me so many lovely photographs of you at home. I love receiving your emails so please keep sending them to me. It is great to see lots of you are practising your reading, writing and maths, but that you are also learning so many other lovely things like cooking and gardening. I have been busy at home taking my dog Cullie on lots of walks. He is loving having me at home. I have also been cooking lots of new yummy recipes.

We will hopefully all be back together soon and we can play one of our favourite games - when we choose learning partners. It makes us all laugh together as you are able to guess each others pictures from the outline!

Keep helping your families at home and having lots of fun and we will see each other soon.

From Mrs Melia

Hello everyone!!

I hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely sunshine with your families!  It has been a long time since I saw you and I am missing you all very much. I think about you every day and wonder what you are up to.

I have been keeping myself busy doing lots of reading, cooking and walking my dogs Lexie and Marshall. I have  been doing some making and getting things ready for when we go back to school. I have also been painting rocks and stones to hide when I’m out walking. I wonder if any of you will find them when you’re out on your walks?

I have really enjoyed seeing some of the things that you have been doing in the emails that you have sent. I do hope that you will keep sending them!

can’t wait to see you all and hear all about the fun that you’ve been having. Be helpful and kind to everyone at home and I will see you soon! Sending you all a big rainbow hug!!

With love

It has only been a matter of weeks since I have seen you all but it feels like so much more time has passed. How are you? I miss your smiling faces when I teach you and when you tell me all about your adventures.

I have 3 children at home keeping me busy. We love being outside as a family and have enjoyed the sunshine in our garden with the paddling pool and planting seeds. We have also been looking for insects and making little homes for them.

Crafting and baking are our favourite hobbies too. We have decorated our windows for families to see when they go on their walks.

Weekends mean family cinema time  - including buying popcorn treats from the kitchen. We have been reading books in as many different places as we can find at home! My favourite is on the trampoline. I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine too. How many rainbows you have spotted in Wollaston?

I can’t wait to laugh, learn and smile with you all again. Until then, stay safe.
