From EYFS to Year 6 we offer a clear end point using a structured curriculum map to follow the National Curriculum
The PE lead identifies children with SEND and monitors their participation in sport to ensure inclusivity

Teachers work from our Complete PE scheme, which enables teachers to plan and implement high quality PE lessons with progression in skills and knowledge from EYFS to Year 6.
*A professional Sports Coach delivers Curriculum CPD and staff/pupil coaching two days per week, in addition to lunch time clubs and range of after school clubs
PE monitoring is conducted regularly to ensure that a high standard of PE is being delivered across school, including lesson observations underpinned with developmental feedback
We promote pupil leadership skills through our Playground Leader team and dedicated Sports Crew, who lead activities for KS2 Children, and intervention groups considering SEND

The introduction of PAL (Physically Active Learning) supports Cross Curricular links through PE lessons
We compete in School Games Competitions, Cluster Schools Competitions and host Intra Tournaments to target our pupils who do not necessarily represent one of our competitive teams
Sports Day is designed to allow all children to take part in a range of activities, including the opportunity to be engaged in a competitive environment for some events
We value ideas and feedback on our current PE Offer. We gather formal and informal feedback, including surveys to ask parents for their thoughts and provide an opportunity for pupil voice to have a positive impact on PE provision
Swimming lessons are provided for our Year 3 and Year 4 cohorts on a weekly basis for half a year, where they work to a structured swimming programme led by professional swimming teachers at our local Leisure Centre
