Children's Mental Health Week and Safer Internet Day

Dear Parents and Carers

Next week is Children's Mental Health Week and Safer Internet Day. These are 2 important aspects that we support your children with throughout the year as part of our PSHE programme and will be continuing to work on them next week. The children will all be taking part in different activities based on both of these. Please see the information below that you might find useful and will give you some ideas of how to help to support you and your child at home.

Safer Internet Day - 8th February

Safer Internet day is on Tuesday 8th February. The theme this year is 'All Fun and Games - Exploring Respect and Relationships Online.'

Please see the website below that gives you information about how to keep your children safe online at home. https://saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/safer-internet-day-2022

Children's Mental Health Week Mon 7th - Sun 13th February 2022

The theme for Children's Mental Health Week this year is 'Growing Together'. The focus of the week is to encourage both children and adults to consider how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.

Throughout the week we will be looking at how challenges and setbacks help us to grow and adapt in lots of different ways. Trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone and into a new realm of possibility and potential. Over the week the children will take part in a range of different activities. We hope that you find all of the information on the websites useful.

Thanks for your support.
