Anti-Bullying Week and Children in Need - November 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

Monday 15th – Friday 19th November is Anti- Bullying week. Over the week all children will be taking part in different activities linked to this.

Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of last year has underlined how little acts of kindness and consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of people around us. This is the reason that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen to be the theme of Anti Bullying Week this year.

On Monday 15th November children can wear odd socks to school. (There is no donation needed for this). It’s a great way to celebrate what makes us all unique and a great start to the week.

Friday 19th November is Children in Need. Our School Council have been busy asking the children their thoughts about raising money. We have decided that the children can come dressed in something linked to Pudsey Bear.

Children can wear something yellow, spotty, come dressed as Pudsey Bear or dressed as their favourite bear for a donation of £1.

We really appreciate your help and support in raising money for such an important charity.

Many thanks

Mrs Lara Melia
