In June children in year four will complete in the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC). The purpose of the check is to determine whether year 4 pupils can fluently recall their multiplication tables up to 12 x 12.

The MTC will be delivered as an online, on-screen digital assessment and will take each pupil less than 5 minutes to complete. There are twenty-five randomly generated questions in total and children will have six seconds to answer each question, there will be three seconds between questions.
