A message from the Headteacher

As we approach the end of a busy term I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for all your help and support. Much has been packed into the spring term despite the snow's attempts to hamper us! When you reflect back over the past few weeks, it is amazing to see how many visits, special curriculum days and sporting events the children have been involved in. This week for example, along with the Sport Relief Mile, we had Saltmine Theatre company share a thought provoking performance and workshop with the children. This focused on British Values and helped the children to reflect on how we should treat each other. Huge thanks go to the staff who work so hard to make learning engaging by offering the children so many experiences.

It was lovely to see so many of you at our open evenings last week and your feedback about reports and the usefulness of the meetings with teachers, has been pleasing to receive. I hope that you will be able to join us for some of our Easter events next week and I hope that all have a lovely Easter break, when it finally comes.

Best wishes

Mrs D Hudson
