A message from the Headteacher

Dear Parent / Carers

Thank you for all your support with our RFA Valentine’s Disco last night.  The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  We are all looking forward to a well-deserved rest next week as half-term is almost upon us.  a reminder that our INSET day is Monday 23 February 2026 and the children will return to school Tuesday 24 February 2026. 

Next half-term is another busy time albeit condensed into five school weeks.  We have a number of events in school to look forward to. 

March

Thurs 5th - World Book Day

Mon 9th - Parent Consultation – Book Looks (3.30 – 5.30 p.m.)

Tue 10th - Parent Consultation Meetings (2.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.)

Fri 13th - Mufti Day for Chocolate Donations

Fri 20th - RFA Chocolate Bingo 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Thur 26th - 2.15pm - Key Stage 2 Easter Assembly

Fri 27th - 9.00am - Key Stage 1 Easter Bonnet Parade and Songs

I hope you all have a wonderful break next week.  We will look forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 24 February 2026.

Tommy the Tornado

Our super talented Tommy the Tornado is taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime snooker event, bringing together three generations of the game and taking on the renowned Stuart Bingham, 2015 UK World Champion & 2020 Masters Champion.  If you would like to attend to support Tommy, ticket details are on the attached flyer.

RFA Wonka Event for World Book Day

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Mrs Gilbert is the Designated Safeguarding Lead and any concerns should be shared with her or the Deputy Safeguarding Leads – Mrs Hadley and Mrs Morley.  Where child protection concerns are raised, the school has a statutory duty to refer these concerns to children’s social care.
