Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading Challenge

It is almost the summer holidays so that means there is a brand new Summer Reading Challenge for everyone to take part in. The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year and is completely free! All you need to do is sign up at a local library, read six books and then collect the rewards as you read!

Below are some links to great websites with useful booklists, which will help you to decide which books to read.

Use the tabs on the right hand side of the webpage to filter reading lists by age and also award winning books!

As always, there are book recommendations on Twitter. If you don’t have Twitter, you can still look on our Twitter Page by clicking on the link on our website.

In addition, Dudley MBC have attached list of activities going on in their libraries this summer as part of the Summer Reading Challenge.

All activities are free of charge, there are also specific activities for SEN children and their families including Dudley Zoo Visits and Goldilocks and the Three Bears theatrical performance.

Happy holidays and happy reading!
